Hull City have agreed a deal to sign Turkish goalkeeper Deniz Eren Dönmezer from Kayserispor. The 18-year-old will join for a fee of £1.05 million, with the formal contracts to be signed in the January transfer window.

Kayserispor president Ali Çamlı announced the agreement during a live radio broadcast. "We have reached an agreement with Hull City regarding the transfer of Deniz Eren Dönmezer," Çamlı said. "The official contracts will be signed in January." He confirmed the financial details, adding, "We will receive a transfer fee of 1.05 million pounds for Deniz’s transfer."

Dönmezer is considered one of Turkey's top young goalkeeping prospects. Standing at 1.95 metres, he made his Süper Lig debut for Adana Demirspor while still aged 15, becoming one of the youngest goalkeepers in the league's history. He has represented Turkey at every youth level from Under-16 to Under-19 and was named in The Guardian's prestigious Next Generation list of the world's best talents born in 2007.

The move represents a strategic piece of recruitment for Hull City owner Acun Ilıcalı, expanding the club's network in Turkish football. It comes as the first-team squad prepares for a trip to Craven Cottage to face Fulham this weekend, sitting eighth in the Premier League with nine points from six games.

It is not yet confirmed whether Dönmezer will remain on loan at Kayserispor for the remainder of the current season before linking up with his new club. The Tigers' current squad details, including the goalkeeping department, are available on our squad page.
