Hull City manager Sergej Jakirovic has declared his squad ready for Saturday's Premier League fixture away to Fulham. The Tigers travel to Craven Cottage looking to build on their current eighth-place position in the standings.

Jakirovic confirmed a clean bill of health following the short turnaround from last weekend's 2-2 draw with Everton. "We had a good recovery and a short week for us, but now they're all ready for Saturday," he said. Key midfielders Hidemasa Morita and Elliot Matazo are available, as are defenders Matt Targett and Brooke Norton-Cuffy. The team will be looking to improve a recent run of form that has seen them earn just three points from their last five matches, while conceding a total of 9 goals in that period.

Striker Oli McBurnie, the Scotland international signed this summer, is yet to score in his six appearances but retains his manager's full backing. Jakirovic believes a goal is imminent for the 30-year-old, whose work rate and presence have been valued. The boss also pointed to Joe Gelhardt's potential impact, noting the forward's 15-goal haul last season. "He delivered 15 goals last season, so we know what he is capable of," Jakirovic added, acknowledging Gelhardt is still building rhythm after missing pre-season through injury.

Mohamed Belloumi, the club's top scorer this season with three goals, has returned from international duty but is managing some fatigue. His late equaliser against Everton showed his importance, and his fitness will be monitored ahead of the trip to London.

Jakirovic expects a stern challenge from a Fulham side managed by Alvaro Arbeloa and currently sitting bottom of the league. He described the game as difficult, suggesting Fulham have been unfortunate in some matches this campaign. The Hull boss stated that every head coach is under pressure but insisted his side are not favourites, instead aiming to play a competitive "50-50" game using their own qualities and a prepared tactical plan.

Hull City's recent form shows three draws and two losses from their last five outings, a run they will be keen to improve upon. The match at Craven Cottage kicks off at 3pm BST on Saturday.
