Hull City owner Acun Ilıcalı has revealed that the club is working on bringing in players ahead of next season. The Tigers have been linked with Galatasaray defender Victor Nelsson in recent days, with reports from Turkey suggesting they have started attempts to sign the player. Ilıcalı confirmed that the club is looking at players, but wouldn't be drawn into who they were targeting. Hull City's initial bid for Nelsson is said to be €4m, with Gala reportedly looking for offers up to €10m for the Denmark international. The club is also interested in Fenerbahçe forward Talisca, with Ilıcalı's Fener connections potentially aiding the transfer. Ilıcalı believes there is talent in Turkey that could play in the English topflight, citing Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, and Beşiktaş as having high-level squads. The Hull City boss also mentioned Trabzonspor, with whom the club has good relations. Earlier this week, it was reported that Hull City have entered into transfer talks to sign Nelsson and were looking to close a deal. The Dane is no longer in the plans of Okan Buruk and they are keen to offload him during this window. Nelsson's club teammate Roland Sallai is also on the Premier League side's wish-list after the Hungarian impressed last season with Cim Bom. Ilıcalı's comments suggest that the club is working hard to bring in new players, with the owner stating that they have some work to do.
