Who is Tim Iroegbunam?
The England youth international began his career at Sutton United before moving to West Bromwich Albion. He joined Aston Villa in 2021 and made his Premier League debut in 2022. After a loan spell at Queens Park Rangers, he signed for Everton in 2024 for £9 million. Last season, he made 31 appearances across all competitions, including 29 in the Premier League.
Why Hull City want him
Hull City have already added three midfielders this summer-Óscar Zambrano, Hidemasa Morita, and Jens Hjertø-Dahl-but Iroegbunam’s experience and composure could provide further depth. The Tigers are on a four-game winning run (WWWWD) and are looking to build on their strong finish to last season, where they ended with a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough on 23 May 2026.
