Hull City are showing strong interest in Uruguay forward Alvaro Rodriguez, who has been linked with several European clubs. The 21-year-old has been in impressive form for Elche in La Liga, scoring seven goals in 34 appearances. Rodriguez was recruited from Girona as a teenager and went on to make ten appearances for Real Madrid before being loaned to Getafe. He was then sold to Elche for €2million in July 2025, with Real inserting a 50 per cent sell-on clause. City are looking to add depth and quality to Sergej Jakirovic's squad, with Oli McBurnie shouldering the goal-scoring burden last season. Rodriguez's skillset and burgeoning interest have seen his value rise to at least €22m, with several clubs across Europe watching his progress. PSV, Ajax, and Feyenoord are also reportedly interested in the young forward, who has most recently played age group international football for Uruguay.
