Hull City is reportedly among the clubs interested in Birmingham City forward Jay Stansfield as they look to strengthen their squad for the Premier League. The Tigers secured promotion via the Championship play-offs and are now focused on assembling a competitive team capable of staying in the top flight. Stansfield, who scored 10 goals last season, has caught the attention of Hull City, along with Sunderland, Everton, and Ipswich Town. Birmingham City is expected to demand at least €30m (£25.9m) for the 23-year-old, which may complicate any potential deal. Stansfield, a former England youth international, has been a key player for Birmingham since joining from Fulham in 2024. Hull City's manager Sergej Jakirović has emphasized the need to blend youth and experience in their recruitment strategy. He stated that the main players who helped the club achieve promotion can remain and contribute while new signings are sought to enhance the squad's quality.
